During the Spring semester of 2019 I interned at Generational Transfer Entrepreneurs, a private equity firm, as a Private Equity Analyst Intern. I learned a lot about current trends in the search fund industry. I was able to gain valuable experience working in teams and apply the topics that I learned about through my economics curriculum.
In addition, I interned for Pittsburgh Urban Leadership Service Experience (PULSE) which is a nonprofit service organization akin to the Peace Corps. They bring on recent graduates for a year of service and professional development with Pittsburgh nonprofits. This was a valuable experience for me because I was able to see the amazing work being done everyday by nonprofits across the city.
