During my time as a Pitt student, I had the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Teresa Hagan Thomas through the URMP program. I also worked at UPMC Presbyterian, one of Pittsburgh’s most prestigious hospitals. These job opportunities have given me a deeper understanding of research based practices and quality patient care, which are both aspects of global health.
