Growing up bilingual in Spanish, I recognize the importance of being able to communicate in another language. I feel fortunate that I am able to express myself on multiple levels.

Studying French in France was a truly enriching experience, it was face paced and intensive, but nonetheless very effective. In retrospect, I feel as though I learned more through my mistakes in France than I could have ever learned in the US. There’s something about being genuinely immersed in a culture that forces you to pick up on the subtleties of a language. I am truly grateful I had the amazing opportunity to study abroad at such a prestigious university. I feel more confident and secure in my French language abilities and have already put them to good use back here in the states.
