I was born in Antwerp, Belgium. I was raised in Pittsburgh and then Miami. I am the daughter of Cuban immigrants and love to travel. Ironically, if there’s one constant in my life it’s change.
During my year-long exchange program at SciencesPo Campus of Reims, I sought to understand international relations from a French perspective. I completed a certificate in Business and Economics and continued expanding my knowledge of the French language. Both certificates in Transatlantic and West European Studies resulted from a culmination of experiences I gained while abroad.
My academic interests are interdisciplinary in scope. During my undergraduate studies I completed dual degrees in psychology and philosophy. Currently, I am in pursuit of a Masters in Public and International Affairs (MPIA) with a specialization in Security and Intelligence Studies (SIS) at the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public and International Affiairs (GSPIA).
