Present your experience studying abroad. Include pictures, links to the study abroad program that you went on or foreign university that you attended, the organization or company you may have interned with, or other information about your program. When presenting your study abroad experience(s) consider some questions:
How did your study abroad experience enhance or interact with your global studies concentration?
During your study abroad experience, were you exposed to different attitudes, or beliefs? If so reflect on the ways these experiences affected your own outlook and ideas.
Did your study abroad program include language study? Did you use your language skills while you were abroad? If so, think about how knowing even some of another language helped you to participate in a broader everyday life.
Did you participate in any group projects or community engagement? If so, reflect on the experience. What kind of work did you do? How did you accomplish the goals of the project?
How did you engage with the new part of the world you were living and working in? Did you live with a host family? Did you join any classes, work at a job, volunteer?
