Describe the importance of learning another language. Here are some questions you might consider in your reflection:

Is language learning important to the way you interact in the world? Why or Why not?

Do you think you might use your language skills in the future? How so?

How does language help you to understand another culture or society? How does it help you to engage with other topics and people in diverse language communities?

Have you visited language communities where the language your learned was spoken? How do you think that makes your experience of those places different than it would have been had you not learned language?

If you studied the language intensively either in the US or abroad, what did that experience of intensive language learning feel like? Do you think it changed the way you learned language?

Consider adding an OPI testing result, TOEFL score, or other documentation about your language learning.

If you did a translation, or a project you want to highlight, this might be a good spot to talk about it.
