Matthew Broocke

My name is Matthew Broocke and I am a senior at the University of Pittsburgh, planning to graduate in April 2020.  As a political science major, I am fascinated by how social and political structures shape the world that we live in, and particularly how this plays out on a local versus global level.  With an interest in global economic justice, I chose the Global Studies Certificate in Health and Well-Being to examine how the history and political economy of a state affects the health and well-being of its citizens, as well as what it means to be considered healthy.
