My name is Mark Novales. I am a Senior major in Accounting & Business Information Systems with a minor in Economics and a certificate in Global Studies. My certificate concentration is Global Politics and Economy.
I am actively engaged with student organizations on campus as I have served as a Resident Assistant for 3 years and served as an ambassador for Pitt’s Alumni Association. I am also an avid advocate for the Latino community as I founded and led Pitt’s Latinx Student Association and serve as the First-Year Leadership Coordinator for the Roberto Clemente Minority Business Association. I am passionate about equitable urban economic development and global economic affairs in relation to human rights and housing.
I am interested in pursuing a career in Management Consulting and Non-Profit Management. I recently interned with Ernst & Young as a Performance Improvement Summer Consultant in Philadelphia, PA focused on Program Management. I want to enter a career focused on helping others tap into their true potential and making an impact to better the live of others, whether that be on a local or global scale.
