Katherine Rohde

Hello! My name is Katherine Rohde. I grew up outside Chicago, IL, and I’m currently studying biomedical engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. In addition to minoring in chemistry and history, I have pursued a certificate in Global Health in order to synthesize my interests in medicine, social justice, and policy. Through my global health courses, I have broadened by understanding of the social determinants of health and issues of health justice. Next year, I’ll be attending the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where I will focus on health and regulatory law. I hope to one day craft policies that will promote the right to health that we are all entitled to, starting with equitable and affordable access to medical care.
