• Culture and the European Union

  First Experience in Research

  In my sophomore year of college I had to opportunity to participate in the university’s First Experience in Research program. I was able to work alongside my faculty mentor, Dr. Randall Halle, on a semester long project looking at culture in the European Union. Here I was able to work with various databases including those of the European Union and gain valuable time-management and research skills.

  Independent Study

  Because of my strong interest in economics and the middle east region, I embarked on a semester long independent study that discussed Iran after the United States’ exit from the so called Iran deal. Having a faculty member as a guide, I was able to complete a well-researched paper on the topic and learn more about the independent research process (see the ‘Papers and Presentations’ tab for the full paper).
