Julia Fest

Welcome! My name is Julia Fest and I am a senior at the University of Pittsburgh. I am a Political Science and Economics double major and am receiving certificates in Arabic Language and Linguistics and Global Studies. Throughout my studies, I have focused specifically on international relations and foreign policy by concentrating my Global Studies Certificate on Global Economy and Global Governance and my Political Science major on international affairs. Because of my Arabic studies, I am particularly interested in the political and economic developments of the Middle East and North Africa Region. I was able to further this interest through a semester long study abroad experience in Amman, Jordan—an experience that taught me more about myself and the world than I could have ever hoped. In the future, I hope to attend graduate school and eventually work in foreign and/or economic policy.
