Aniah McLeod

Hello! My name is Aniah McLeod. My global concentration is in Global Health. I chose to study global health so that I could learn more about the barriers that prevent the eradication of diseases in developing countries. My particular global interests are in the distribution of medical and technological advancements to Sub-Saharan Africa to combat both communicable and noncommunicable diseases.

I briefly traveled to Tanzania to intensively study Swahili and the current health efforts in Sub-Saharan Africa. My career interest is to become a medical doctor that is able to treat individuals and promote the prevention of disease in populations as well. Ultimately, I would like to return to Tanzania as a physician and offer medical services to the people living in remote villages.
