I wrote my thesis “An Exploration of System Justification in China: Public Opinion on Air Quality” to complete the BPhil offered through the University Honors College. I investigated the global phenomenon of populations accepting environmental problems as an externality of economic development using semi-structured interviews with educated middle class urbanites from Shanghai, China.

Consortium for Educational Resources on Islamic Studies
On April 14, 2018 I presented my paper “An Exploration of China’s Most Controversial Ethnic Minority: the Uyghurs” at the Constortium for Educational Resources on Islamic Studies held at Duquesne University. I originally wrote this paper for the course Government and Politics in Contemporary China, which I took the Fall semester of my third year at Pitt.
