Hello! I am a Linguistics major graduating in April of 2019 from the University of Pittsburgh. I also study Spanish, Korean and Sociology. My interest in language and social organization came together through my completion of a certificate in Global Studies.
Upon graduating, I hope to become an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher and continue learning about Second Language Acquisition. The field of SLA goes hand in hand with Global Studies as an increasingly globalized world requires more sophisticated and widespread communication and cultural sensitivity, and I am excited to contribute to further understanding its role in language education.
